Pantages Theater
901 Broadway, Tacoma, WA 98402
Symphony Tacoma performs most concerts at the historic Pantages Theater in downtown Tacoma. A few special concerts take place elsewhere, always check your ticket to confirm.
When to Arrive
We recommend arriving about 20 minutes early, enough time to pass through security, pick up a refreshment, and find your seat without rushing.
Coming to the pre-concert talk? It begins 90 minutes before each Classics concert on the Orchestra level, so plan your arrival accordingly.
Latecomers are seated at a break in the program, at the discretion of the House Manager. You may be seated in a different location and can move to your ticketed seat at intermission.
Bag Check and Security
Tacoma City Theaters screens all patrons entering the venue. Bags are subject to search, and you may be asked to open your jacket. Please allow a few extra minutes. No outside food or drink other than commercially bottled water are allowed into the building.
Coat Check
A coat check is located in the lobby, so you don't need to carry a damp raincoat or heavy winter gear into the hall.
Food and Drink
Snacks and beverages, including beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, are available for purchase in the lobby before the concert and at intermission. Cash and cards accepted. At most concerts you may bring refreshments to your seat; please be mindful of noisy packaging. Wine may be brought into the hall in a lidded cup (small additional charge). You can also pre-order a drink to have waiting for you at intermission.

Instrument Petting Zoo

Babes in Arms
Infants are welcome at Mini Maestros. We do ask that you reserve a free infant ticket for them — it costs nothing, and it lets us know exactly how many people are in the hall in case of an emergency.
Strollers
Bring the stroller. There's plenty of room to park it in the lobby or in the space just outside the concert hall.
Special Concerts & Other Venues
A handful of concerts, such as Messiah and Symphony Tacoma Voices, take place in other venues around the South Sound. The venue is always listed on the concert page and printed on your ticket, please double-check before you head out.
