Your program, before you arrive.
Symphony Tacoma program books are fully digital. Read the notes at home before you come and revisit as often as you want!
HOW IT WORKS
Three ways to get your program.
However you like to do things, we’ve got you covered.
Check your email
Just like always, we'll email you before every concert with everything you need to know for the evening — including a link to the program. Read it whenever you like: on the couch, on the bus, or ten minutes before the downbeat.
Scan at the theater
When you arrive, an usher will hand you a card with the evening's program listing and a QR code. Point your camera at it and the full program book opens right up.
Or find it here
Every program of the season lives on this page. Bookmark it and you'll never be without one.

Prefer paper? Just ask.
We keep a limited number of printed program notes on hand at every concert. Ask any usher or stop by the Symphony Tacoma table in the lobby — no explanation needed, and no charge.
WHY WE MADE THE CHANGE
Fiscal & Environmental Responsibility
Printing thousands of program books for every concert has become one of our larger production costs, and paper prices have climbed steadily. Going digital lets us put that money back where it belongs, on the stage and in classrooms across Pierce County.
It also means a great deal less paper printed, trucked, and thrown away after a single evening. After eighty years in this community, we'd like to be good stewards of it.
What you get out of it
Read ahead. The program arrives days before the concert, not two minutes before it starts.
Revisit it later. Look up that piece you loved on the drive home, or a week after the concert.
Zoom in. Pinch to enlarge any page — no more squinting at small print in a dim hall.
Keep them all. Every program, download or revisit this page for past programs.
Nothing to carry. Or to leave behind under your seat.
