Raising money to better our community? We’d like to help.
Symphony Tacoma donates concert tickets to nonprofits, schools, and PTAs around the South Sound for auctions, raffles, and other fundraisers. A night at the symphony makes a great prize, and it might be the winner's first time hearing an orchestra live.
What we donate
We don’t have a lot, but we do have great music to share with our community. Let us know how many tickets you are looking for and if a particular concert matches your event. Approved donations are mailed as a gift certificate, and we include the dollar value so you can list it on your bid sheet or in your materials.
Who can apply
Nonprofits, schools, and PTAs holding a fundraising event in the South Sound.
What we can’t help with
To keep our tickets going where they’ll do the most good, we’re not able to donate to:
Individuals or personal fundraisers, including crowdfunding campaigns
Political campaigns, candidates, or political action committees
Churches, congregations, and other houses of worship
Organizations or events outside the South Sound
Events that aren’t fundraisers, such as staff appreciation, giveaways, or door prizes
Requests for cash, sponsorships, or in-kind items other than tickets
If you’re not sure whether your event fits, send the request anyway, or email us at Tickets@SymphonyTacoma.org. We’d rather talk it through than have you count yourself out.
How it works
Fill out the form on the right at least 2 weeks before your event. If you can send it earlier, that leaves more time for the gift certificate to reach you in the mail.
We'll review your request and get back to you within 3 business days.
If it's approved, we'll mail your gift certificate along with our logo, so you can include Symphony Tacoma in your event materials.
We can't fill every request we receive, but every organization that applies will hear back from us.
Afterward, we'd love to hear how it went!
Please send us your logo and a short note about how the donation was used, like what it raised or who it helped. We like telling our community about the good work happening around the South Sound, and your event could be part of that.
